Setup guide
Connect Jibletto to ChatGPT.
Add the connector
In ChatGPT, open Settings, select Plugins in the left-hand list, then click the + button to add a new one. Fill in the form:
- Name:
Jibletto - Description: anything, for example “Carrier verification”
- Connection: leave it on Server URL (not Tunnel), and enter
https://jibletto.com/api/mcp - Authentication: leave it on OAuth. ChatGPT reads the rest automatically from that URL.
You’ll see a warning that custom MCP servers introduce risk, with a checkbox reading “I understand and want to continue.” That warning shows for every custom connector, not something specific to Jibletto. Check it, then click Create.
Start a new chat
Once it’s connected, just start a fresh conversation and mention Jibletto by name in your message. There’s no separate step to turn it on. If your version of ChatGPT shows a tools or connectors menu in the message box, you can also enable it there before asking.
Run a real check
Ask something like:
“Using Jibletto, verify the carrier with DOT number [a real USDOT you want to check]”
This runs an actual FMCSA lookup through your account. It’s the same check you’d run on jibletto.com, not a preview or a mock. It runs on your 7-day free trial or your Pro plan, like every other check.
Insurance: manual entry or AI upload?
On the website: run a carrier check, open its receipt, and choose Review a COI or carrier packet. Type the details from your document, review them, then save. This is manual entry: the website does not upload or read your file.
In ChatGPT, when the certificate-review pilot is available: connect Jibletto, attach one US insurance certificate, and ask Jibletto to check its carrier using the USDOT number and read the certificate. Supported files are PDF (up to five pages), PNG or JPEG, up to 8 MB. Wait for the carrier check to complete, then review and correct the extracted fields in the confirmation form before saving.
AI extraction is an optional pilot, not a website upload feature. If the certificate action or confirmation form is unavailable, or the upload fails, stop and contact kareen@kaliadvisory.co. You can still record details manually on the website. A general ChatGPT answer is not a saved Jibletto certificate review.
Uploaded certificates are sent to an AI processor for extraction. Jibletto stores extracted and confirmed details, not the original file; keep your original. Neither route authenticates the document or confirms current insurance coverage. Confirm coverage directly with the insurer or authorized agent.
What a good result looks like
A correct response reads as facts, not a conclusion: what FMCSA has on record, where each fact came from, and what could not be established. There is no score, rating, or recommendation anywhere in it. Jibletto is built to never produce one.
Facts you can review. A decision you control.
If it doesn’t work
“Your free trial has ended”: the 7-day trial on this account is over. Subscribe from your dashboard to keep checking carriers; everything already checked stays readable. “Your free allowance has ended” belongs to an older, retired trial cohort. If you see it on a recent account, that is a bug: contact us.
An authorization or scope error mid-conversation: sign in again when prompted. Connector sessions expire periodically.
Still stuck? Email kareen@kaliadvisory.co with the exact error text. The wording tells us exactly where to look.
